It’s been a couple of weeks since #Xerocon but I’m still digesting everything that I saw and heard and still making contact with all those that I spoke to!
But the one thing that still resonates with me is how differently XERO do things, so how enlightening was it to walk into a room of approx 2400 people on day one of #Xercon and be welcomed by not only ‘Xero’ but ‘Cloak Xero’ as well!
I think everyone who attended would agree it was a truly ‘Spirit-ual’ session that taught us to open our minds. Dandapanji is a monk who spoke of the conscious mind, he wore loose linen trousers, a wrap around cloak and painted lines on his face (apparently Monk wifi – got some good laughs) – someone who spoke more sense in 30 mins that’s I’ve probably heard in the last 30 days!
As attendee’s we learn’t to understand the difference between awareness of the mind and how we can learn to concentrate and motivate ourselves towards our goals, remembering that our energy and time is finite and should be lived to our greatest potential doing what we love! The insight into his life was not just humorous, but thought provoking too.
So my point is – let’s open our minds – embrace new technologies, do what we love, share our knowledge and work in harmony – I love having my head in the cloud it’s what I’m all about and thanks #Xerocon for doing things a little different!
